The reason Carol left was because of on-set shit; I can't remember which but she either decided to leave, or she was fired.
As of such I doubt she's coming back.

That's got nothing to do with the show; it's behind-the-scenes shit.
You'll find that with many TV shows, characters exit because actors quit or get fired.
It's a fact.
It doesn't affect anything on the show.
Chances are she does come back. Who knows.

Really? That sucks. I was looking forward to seeing her in later episodes dead or alive :(

She might come back.
Besides, the makeup department's so good that even if they didn't have Carol's actor, they could easily zombie up someone to look like her.
Or something.
