Here's a few to start:
-When you die, embalmer's use superglue to keep your mouth from falling open. They also coat your lips in wax to prevent cracks and flakes.
-In 16th century Europe, it was acceptable to greet female guests by fondling their breasts, provided you were related to them.
-Ancient Egyptian Pharaohs had human flytraps. Basically poor suckers who were smeared with donkey milk and made to stand in the corner.
