We could could also be 3D+ beings that can only see in a 2 dimensional plane.

If you consider the argument that time is the fourth dimension, and agree that until proven otherwise we only exist in dimensions we can measure, then we are 4D.

Eh, now with physics in mind, I don't really think that 4D is time. I believe it is more complicated and space and other stuff are strange like that. But anyways, my point that I was making was simply that we can see one less of a dimension because our eyes are fixated to see only that. I wasn't trying to argue anything 4D or 5D whatever. Too complicated for me
