Gun and Gun Hobbiest thread revival

Sooo... been a while since I've posted here, eh?

Got some new toys since my last post, as follows.

Chinese Type-53 Mosin Nagant (and a spam-can of ammo) :

Star Firestar .40S&W for compact carry:

And my baby I just bought tonight, a CMT "CMT-15" AR-15 chambered in 5.56mm.
Came with Tactical Carrying Case, 14 mags, a 1.5-4x magnification sight, a riser mount for the sight, and a hogue grip.
Paid $1,200 for it, which if you add up the cost of the attachments, the gun itself only ran me around $500-600. I couldn't pass up that deal.

that Mosin and that AR....kinda sexy.

I'm really digging the stuff pro. Especially the 4 Mosins that y'all have. I've always wanted a chance to plink around with a bolt action. Just something about the bolt is "sexy" to me and truly enjoyable. It calls out to my sniper tendencies...

How did that promag 25 rounder run?

I picked one up at Academy, but haven't had a chance to take it to the range to test it.

I have 2 and they both work amazingly well. out of the ~250 rounds i shot that weekend i had one failure to load, and where we were shooting was basically a big sand pit which is pretty brutal conditions for .22lr.

I'm serioulsy considering buying the promag 70 round drum for it once 22 ammo becomes available for cheap again (like the $16 for 500 round sales that used to happen)

That is the best setup of a G18 I've ever seen. Very nice, but how much did all that cost ya?

$200 roughly for the mag, not sure about the optics.. I've had that Aimpoint for awhile and can't remember how much I got it for. The rony kit was around $300 and the guy who converted this to fully auto did it for free. Overall price is roughly $1300.

Ya know, I love getting paychecks. Makes me all warm and fuzzy.

UTAS UTS-15 Pump action Bullpup design shotgun, holds 15 shells (7 each side +1 chambered). Single or Alternate feed double internal magazines. Has rifled barrel.

Brand new, never fired.

MSRP: $1,200
Bought for: $1,049

Also, she may look a bit... big... But she is actually the same length as a standard sawn-off double barrel shotgun. Use that as reference :P

I will give her a name I feel is appropriate after I go and shoot.

Finally got around to getting a 22LR today, been wanting one to cycle some rounds through since the 30/30 ammo is a bit pricey/rough to get shooting practice in.

Savage 22LR Mark II with 10 round mag. I have an extra scope and stuff to put on it later.
