In situations like these, i tend to pull out an airsoft gun (I'd like to see it dodge a lead bb travelling 300 feet/s) and just shoot what ever pest is attempting to take point A.

In all fairness, it's usually on the ceiling, floor, curtains or doors. Rarely find anything on the walls, they're too set on setting up camp in unsuspecting places.
