Eh, probably her being excited. Almost every voice actor and person at hasbro has embraced the brony cultural in a almost identical sense.

Also, quick question knowing you. I just decided to go to /mlp/...the fuck should I be prepared for...? What should I know in general because my knowledge of 4chan is zippish...

1. Ignore the pony porn (for a place where it is banned, there is a surprisingly large amount of it).
2. Get a 4chan extension for your browser
3. With said extension, hide the following threads

a. /b/reads (threads made by the tripfags of /b/)
b. Anon in Equestria (ongoing greentext story threads heavily based on Humans going to Equestria, read it if you're interested though)
c. Tulpa threads (people trying to create imaginary friends, mostly in the form of ponies)
d. MLP General (threads made by the tripfags from /co/)
e. Fluffly Pony threads

/b/reads and MLP General are mostly people who already know each other so it's better to go as an Anonymous.
Tripfags are people who have names and a mix of special characters following the name, and this is to make sure they are the same person posting rather than an Anonymous.

4. Don't use a tripcode or name unless you want to contribute something (art, videos, etc)
5. Most people there hate the term "brony" associating it with the fat neckbeards that most people have come to stereotype us as. It is used not as a term of hatred against the fanbase in general, but the loud ones who embarass us as a whole. 4chan values it's anonimity. They prefer to call themselves "ponyfags" or "horsefuckers" ironically.
6. They generally dislike the staff of EQD, especially Sethisto but they like using the website simply as a source of news and updates.

I'll try to add more if I think of something.

They hate Seth because he lives with his parents and doesn't have a job, yet also happens to be the most widely recognized brony out there. They also hate Seth because he is a huge fan of Trixie, whom many think is a horrible character. One of the things they like to make fun is his fetish for dragons, which they found on an old thread on furaffinity.

They hate EQD because of how much they wish to spread the fandom as far and wide as possible, while posters of /mlp/ prefer to "hide their power levels" and treat MLP as any other show. This is why most (myself included) do not support the idea of a brony commercial on the Hub, while feelings for the documentary are mixed (I'm leaning towards it now).

They do not like the terms "brony", "brohoof", "brofist", "everypony", "parasprite" or other similar words because it is to them, the sign of a loud, obnoxious fan. They prefer to use normal words rather than pony-themed ones.

All of my this, except the parent part, I care little for that. I don't particularly hate him, I just find him..... pretentious. Mainly because he has a fairly big ego, also I don't care about liking Trixie, but I have a theory....

Trixie is a commonly disliked character because she has a huge ego
People with big egos themselves are the only ones that like her.

I mean, I'm not pulling that sentence out of my ass, everyone I know who loves Trixie has an ego the size of Africa.

Also, the terms thing. I personally dislike that, I like MLP as I do any other show. As katphish has said there, it's mainly just people obviously showing that they like MLP, and shoving it in other peoples faces. Which I hate. By saying a troll is a parasprite and using terms like that, they know they're provoking the other party, and thus. Being obnoxious fans.
