Genre: Math Rock, Instrumental
Featuring the drummer from Death Grips, Zach Hill, This band is amazing, check them out.

Mac Demarco - Salad Days
Genre: Slacker rock, Stoner rock
Not much to say about this album, except for that it's really good and you should listen if you like slacker rock.

Genre: Brit Rock
18 year old british musician King Krule KILLS IT on this album. Please listen to my favorite album of last year, six feet beneath the moon.

clipping. - CLPPNG (I wish I could make this album more yellow because it's THAT GOOD)
By far my favorite album or 2014 so far, clipping. combined noise music with hip hop creating a very abrasive sound that is very very good.

Deafheaven - Sunbather
Genre: Blackgaze
This album was another favorite of last year. Deafheaven combined black metal and post rock, creating a very approachable and beautiful sound. This album requires a deep listen, no distractions. One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard.

Panopticon - Roads to the North
Genre: Black Metal
Panopticon is a Black metal project by a one man team. He does all of the instrumentation and layers it. He combines american folk music (Banjos and what not) with Black metal creating a really nice atmosphere that you don't really get with Black metal.

Wtf is math rock? Are they just making up random genres now?
