Spheres of the Aether

Found this image a while ago and it was very entertaining to think about and discuss with my friends. I thought I'd share with you all as well and see what your desired power is, or argue why your choice is best and what not.

Spheres of the Anther.jpg

At the time I finally chose fire after much indecisiveness, but looking back I may chose Arcane so I could lightly dabble in all the spheres, as well as have immense power within my own sphere. That, or future sight.
Minor Edit: I choose necromancy. This will probably change often haha.

***EDIT***

It appears I have been missing another image related to the Spheres of the Aether.

I would definitely go T&T, indisputably. The power to predict what your opponent will do would prove very useful, especially if you can move objects around you to even further your advantage.

Holy, as then I could eventually live forever, thus giving me time to master all the other spheres.
I'm relatively sure you're limited to only one sphere. But I don't know. xD

I just thought of something, but it'd be extreamly fun to set up some kind of T9K role-play using this.

In fact, it'd be great.

I don't play by the rules.

But true.

Also, this makes me want to make a video game involving these.

Hemomancy.

You basically control your opponent's life energy. You can use the Force on them.
Bloodbending at its finest.

I could apply this power onto countless foes and manipulate their blood to attack on all my other opponents. It would be far too monotonous to manipulate the blood in all my opponents.

Most likely, lightning. I had/still have a tough time between fire/lightning, but in the end, lightning kinda creates fire when it hits stuff....so....lighting.

See, I was thinking this was relatively useless, what do you do against a geomancer or biomancer?

Lighting. The internet is lightning. So therefore, porn is lightning.

Lodsa porn.

Who made this chart? He is nerdy. But not THAT nerdy.

Although I still think that roleplay for this would be fantastic.

Maybe we could even get Wooty to create a subforum or something.

Anyone agree?

In terms of roleplay, half of these spheres seem a little overpowered/obviously a cut above the other spheres. I'd be really interested in doing this though ;D seems like fun.

Maybe we could do a sort of D&D sort of thing where a member can be the "dungeon master" if he or she contributes enough time. Or we can have a group of dungeonmasters. We can weave together our own luttle fantasy story this way c;

I don't know, Hemomancy seems a little OP at it's most basic, but I think all of them are relatively balanced(lyOP) at their highest point.

Future Sight is by far the weakest by it's own, but throw in some epic Sword/Gun skills and you have a force to be reckoned with.

I feel like the rules for the spheres interacting with each other would need to be better defined before something like that happens. The picture gives the general premise of the spheres, but as far as specifics I suppose that's left up to the reader.

The one weakness Hemomancy has is the word "addiction." This implies that at some point a powerful Hemomancer won't be able to control his desires for blood. That, in itself, is a great weakness.

Exactly, so we set up something as a group and then implement it.

Of course, the general idea of actually doing it must be accepted first.
