Actually, yes. I too have had this problem, but only on my desktop. Laptop is fine however, even though its hardware is significantly worse.

I wish I could find an answer to this myself. My best guess is it has something to do with my desktop only running 32 bit Windows, but I honestly have no idea.

Does it always happen at a specific point in the game? It happened more often for me when a large wave would begin..
