If you don't have any time to enjoy History? then heres 5 easy steps to Fix that.
1. Walk to the door.
2. Open said door.
3. Walk outside said door.
4. Close said door behind you.
5. And never come back.

Yell who is your favorite (note it must not be only one.

Mines are following:
Sir Francis Drake A Great sailsman under his time. Aswell as "adventurer" you could say, His ship is Known as Golden Hind

Richard LionHeart a Big and great warrior and commander through meny battles to get till Jerusalem fought beside his own Soldiers. As known he never re-took Jerusalem He saw it twice and everytime he turned back.
Third Crusade.

Edward "Blackbeard" Thatch A pirate Who's reputation spread fast. His ship was a French merchant vessel (which he captured) and renamed it (Note: I Think some know) Queen Anne's Revange. (Note: its also thought the ship had about 40 cannons on it.)

Saladin He was a king at the same time as Richard Lionheart aswell as his enemy, Saladin United meny of the fighting factions against The crusaders/Christ(people) (Personal Note: What i know about him he was the first one that succesfully Re-took Jerusalem from the Christ aswell as being the Ruler of both Egypt and Syrien)

Please Share what you know about histry figures there are quite meny as Lincoln, Khan, Anne Bonney And Mary Read, The Wright Brothers, Einstain and how meny more? So Just Share You're Knowledge!

Albert Einstein.

'Cus Energy and stuff.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."

Leonidas, the Spartan. Not because of the movie, but because he defended the crud out of Thermopylae. He could have chose to continue if he wanted but I think his boredom exceeded his fatigue from the fight.

Vladimir Lenin, as his ideas of a classless society were genius. (and for those ignorant on history, he did NOT create the communism we know today; it was the Bolsheviks and their party that had taken his ideas and twisted them into what communism is today; and i am in favour of SOCIALISM, not COMMUNISM.)

Nikola Tesla, because he had designs for a location system using sound waves; 17 years before the invention of radar. He also had plans for a "death ray" of using high sounds or light to destory enemy aircraft.

I have respect for Josef Stalin, Winston Churchill, H.G. Wells, etc.

The Teutonic Knights, look 'em up.

Franklin Delano Roosevelt. All i need to say.

The Teutonic Knights, look 'em up.

I know them. they are somewhat like Templar Knights and Gothic Knights at the Middle age.

But if i remember correct they were more for Helping themselfs? or was it that most Teutonic Knights were usualy peasents? hmm i need to check that up ^^ Ahh History how i Adore you!

EDIT: Ahh "The Order of Brothers of the German House of Saint Mary in Jerusalem". Created at the Siege of Acra.
To be more exact its an Another Order of Knights.

Oh, as for my actual favorite history person,

Motherfuckin' Tesla

I have respect for Josef Stalin
The hell? I just...what? No, that is not a person who should have any respect. Especially for you, since you were all like "Everybody messed up Lenin's ideas", well guess who messed up his ideas the MOST and who Lenin did NOT want to take power?

No, that is not a person who should have any respect.

Do you know how he came to power? No Cous' de` etat, He literally compiled secrets of the lives of the people in power over the course of years basically said "So, i have all of this shit on you guys, and i want power." that is the only reason i have any respect for him. he was cunning.

Blackmailing but still Thinking ahead its same thing in chess.

.. Without the Blackmailing part..

Lol. regardless, he knew what he wanted, and exactly how to get it.

Anyway, i also have massive amounts of respect for Isaac Asimov.

without him, we wouldn't have the ideas of robots as we do.

Hmm. Everytime H. G. Wells is mentioned, no mention goes to Jules Verne. Everytime Nikola Tesla is revered, nothing was said about Thomas Edison(although direct current wasn't as good as alternating current for us). So I'll play devil's advocate and say people who had real power in 'murica then were dirty, backstabbing John D. Rockefeller and J.P. Morgan for Capitalism. Though I believe in a limited and checked Capitalism.

Not playing the role of devil's advocate anymore, George Orwell was pretty cool too for his work on "Politics and the English Language" and "1984". Lars Eighner is a role model of mine for being an exemplary dumpster diver. Thomas Jefferson for his indecisive character and a lover of books. I have decent respect for Laurent Clerc and Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet for establishing a world entirely devoted to the Deaf and hard of hearing. Samuel Clemens was too funny and caustic of a man to ignore so he was cool too. Henry David Thoreau defined the importance of humankind in a world of nature for me. But who says history has to be a bunch of people who revolutionized this and that? I root Mel Blanc!

I would argue that Tesla is less well known than Edison.

Also, Edison was a huge cunt. Stole people's ideas and paid them nothing for it.
Tesla was a bit insane but probably the best person ever.

You know who else is a great historical figure?
Sir Douglas Haig.

Not because I respect him, but because he's the biggest idiot in history.

You know who else was an idiot? Ulysses Grant for being an absolute drunkard during the presidency and yet his name is more commonly known than William Tecumseh Sherman who did a lot of the dirty work after the Civil War. Although Sherman was a brutal man against the south and was so forthright and merciless in his acts, he had guts to at least do something about it instead of sitting around making a politics of it.
