I've actually played a lot with eating grass.
I know it's not good for you, but I've tried boiling it, frying it, etc.

Still really bland and bitter, no matter what you do.
 
Sand. Besides that, friends served me testicles of some kind as a prank and I almost ate them.

I think that person has to be weird in order for it to count.

When I was a kid, my elder siblings talked me into trying Crisco (for those who don't know, it's basically refined lard. Used to be used in baking and things, and for greasing pans so food didn't stick). Their reasoning, which was sound at the time, was that we use it to bake cookies so it must taste good. It does not.

I've not been anyplace exotic so there's no strange delicacy I've tried before, but the weirdest thing I think I've eaten would be blood pudding. It's basically blood of a pig/some other animal that's fried into a patty and you eat it. I didn't know what it was until after I ate it and I asked the server. Very strange taste. I can't quite put my finger on how to describe it.

the weirdest thing i think i have eaten was a kangaroo burger while i was in ocean city for a car show
 
Strangest food item that did not sit well with my stomach is probably cow tripe.

Salmon testicles are best eaten fried...

Crocodile and frog tastes like chicken......


I ate lead-containing glass beads when i was younger.
 
I am secretly eating the aborted fetuses of all T9K members and they are tough to chew

In reality:

I ate cat food and it tasted like dried rotten meat

I ate a Guinea pig and it tasted like lamb

Should you ever find yourself in a sushi bar in Tokyo, don't order the "sweet shrimp"

The food cultures I have see that are the strangest (and yet some of the best) would be: Afghan and Ethiopian food ^^

I live in the food capital of the American East Coast so I can walk down to the shop and buy a Guinea pig with some liche ^^

I've always wanted to eat: cat, fetus soup, and monkey but they arn't ever prepared well so I've never ordered but I have had the chance to eat cat before
 
When I was in like 1st grade, 9 boys were ganging up on me at recess... NOT LIKE THAT! So, they pinned me to the ground and shoved a whole bunch of woodchips down my throat, then I kicked all of them in the balls so I was good! :D T^T Don't let boys pin you to the ground and shove woodchips down your throat

I've eaten several brands of dried dog food. It's not as bad as people would like you to believe, but always make sure your dog has something to drink with it. It's incredibly dry and I can't imagine having dry mouth as a dog as pleasant.

I've eaten paper, soft plastics, rubber bands, pencils, and small amounts of tin foil.

Dandelions are not exactly dandy to eat.

Marshmallows steamed in Lemon-lime soda, in my case Mtn. Dew, will taste incredibly sweet, then sour, and then it will vacate your body and the rest of your stomach contents.

Buttercup flowers do not taste anything like butter.

M&M's, or any small hard-shelled chocolate candies, on pepperoni pizza is surprisingly delicious. (Results may vary depending on the pizza/candy.)
